Rasheena Nash, a writer, director, producer, songwriter, and mother, has become a notable figure in the entertainment industry, celebrated for her dedication to diversity in programming, located in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Rasheena's filmmaking journey started early, capturing an academic Olympics victory in filmmaking at age 15 with an animated short. Post-high school, she worked behind the scenes with major media companies, contributing on sets and touring globally with comedians like Kevin Hart and Mike Epps.

Rasheena honed her skills in the costume department for shows like "Atlanta" on FX, "Amazing Stories" on Apple TV+, and "The Outsider" on HBO Max, while also developing her writing and directing talents. She built strong relationships with Atlanta crews, which led to her acclaimed short film "Just Call Me Darling," celebrated at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. In the film industry, she shadowed directors like Carl Franklin and Benny Boom on "All Eyez on Me," and served as Script Coordinator and Punch-Up Writer for "The Bobby Brown Story."

As a production manager for reality shows like "T.I. & Tiny’s Family Hustle" on VH1, Rasheena continued her filmmaking pursuits, winning a jury prize at the LA Web Fest for her episode "Mother May I" in the Google/YouTube Web Series "The God ComplX." Her directing skills were showcased in "Insecure" and "Single Ladies." A significant career milestone was her film "My Last Day," selected for the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, leading to her signing with Fourth Wall Management.

Rasheena's professional writing breakthrough came with her contributions as a writer and songwriter on "Raven’s Home" on Disney Channel. In 2022, she showcased her versatility by writing songs and jokes for a Broadway show produced by Will Smith and Steven Spielberg. She was the Executive Story Editor for "CoComelon," where she introduced the Black-American character Cody, significantly diversifying children's media. A "CoComelon" video featuring Cody garnered over 6.2 billion views, and Rasheena earned an Emmy nomination for her work on "Tab Time" with Tabitha Brown on YouTube Kids.

Recently, Rasheena directed "I Pray This Sh*t Works," produced by Tyler Perry, and participated in the 2023 film festival circuit. Her upcoming projects include “A Nick-Mas Party,” a television musical movie featuring original songs for Nickelodeon characters, set to debut during the 2023 holiday season. Additionally, she is co-writing a Hallmark movie with Lil’ Rel Howery, scheduled for production in 2025.

Rasheena has also ventured into songwriting with Warner Bros. record label LVRN and taught songwriting for television at the elite school 1500 or Nothin'. Her public speaking engagements at colleges nationwide further highlight her commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.
